Flight Safety International Achievement Awards

Monroe, LA -- Flight Safety International will be sponsoring three achievement award scholarships at NIFA's SAFECON 2007. The awards will be presented to the top three competitors who demonstrate a superior level of achievement both academically and competitively. Recognition of academic work, current and past SAFECON awards, and the acquisition of advanced licenses / ratings are all considered in selecting the winner of these awards.

A reminder to all contestants! To compete for one of these awards, you must bring a copy of your transcript with you to SAFECON. Your transcript will be collected at registration. BE SURE TO PUT YOUR TRANSCRIPT IN A SEALED STANDARD ENVELOPE WITH YOUR FULL NAME, SCHOOL, AND CONTESTANT NUMBER ON THE OUTSIDE. THE TRANSCRIPT DOES NOT NEED TO BE A CERTIFIED COPY.

There will not be any interview with this event this year. Recognition of academic work, current and past SAFECON achievements / rankings, and the acquisition of advanced licenses / ratings are all considered in selecting the winner of these awards.

Each contestnat is urged to be prepared to compete in this event by bringing a copy of your transcript. Only the event judges will review your transcript. They will either be destroyed or returned to you at the end of the competition.
